Sara Fang Horton

Sara Fang Horton earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with Honours from the School of Building and Estate Management at the National University of Singapore in 1992. Since then, Sara has more than 30 years of experience working in Singapore, China including Hong Kong, Bahrain, India and Malaysia in various aspects of the retail real estate industry. She has a panoramic perspective on the field through her work with CBRE, Primadeli (Singapore), Treasury Holdings (Ireland), Tesco Property (China), Starmall Group (Turkey), Edamah (Bahrain), Reliance Group (India), Nawawi Tie Consultants, UEM Sunrise and OSK Group, performing operations as diverse as site selection, shopping centre planning (including organising trade and tenant mix), researching and assessing rental market comparables, leasing, marketing/placemaking, overseeing the opening and operation of shopping malls and management of commercial buildings. Sara lived and worked in Beijing for 15 years, where she was Managing Director of Asia-Pacific for the International Council of Shopping Centers, the retail real estate industry’s largest trade organisation. In that position, Sara cultivated substantial relationships with key contacts among the Association’s 72,000 members worldwide.

 

Most recently Sara was CEO of Property Investment for OSK Group in Malaysia, where she oversaw profitability and growth of commercial property portfolio.
